Switching seamlessly between hard-hitting House and soul-shaking Techno, with a growing influence of Electronic and Ambient music in his growing repertoire, this eclectic young artist from the heart of Malta is making waves in the Maltese underground scene with his masterful track selection and total control behind the decks. As a young up-and-coming artist, Matte is gradually maturing into an expansive underground selector, having nurtured a deep respect and fascination for the synth-wave and Detroit House pioneers of yesteryear. Despite his youth, Matte has already had his fair share of unforgettable experiences, most remarkably warming up for household names like Special Request, Motor City Drum Ensemble, Fadi Mohdem and Gerd Janson. The pinnacle of his musical journey so far has been performing at Glitch Festival 2019, in what was an incredible debut for the 26 year old in Malta's greatest electronic music festival. Matte is also an active event promoter locally. In 2018 he co-founded Midnite Snack, a local club night brand which has quickly earned the respect of the local electronic music scene.
