Matt Langrish-Smith aka Matt L-S is a long standing clubber and music lover, who’s been working in the music industry for over 20 years. His work has taken in 3 years in Advertising at DMC and 5 years as Head of Events at Papa Records, and responsible for their monthly party ‘Messages’. In 2009 he collaborated with Zepherin Saint to set up the internationally acclaimed Tribe Records UK (label and events company) with club residencies in Paris, Miami and London. Fast Forward to 2012 and Matt decided to spread his wings and launch the new events company 'Makin' Moves' with fellow London DJ & friend, Jamesey. Makin’ Moves has flourished under their collaboration from their first joint successful party, ‘Messages' at the Salmon & Compass in Islington. Since 2012 Makin’ Moves has racked up over 70 events across both the International stage taking in Miami’s WMC, Shapes festival in Greece and Amsterdam’s ADE, and London venues such as 93 East, Grow, PoW, Omeara, Shoreditch Studios, Cargo, Curtain Club and the Koko Cafe. Matt has played alongside an incredible line up of International house headliners including Timmy Regisford from The Shelter, Glenn Underground, Jihad Muhammad, Kai Alce, Tyrone Francis, Jimpster, Atjazz, Ian Friday (Tea Party Music) and Greg Gauthier (Dance Culture). Matt continues to bring different dance communities together while producing and playing his own quality deep house music of his weekly Thursday evening 8-10pm radio show on www.hse.fm.
