Producer and sound artist Massi NPL has spent close to a decade honing his craft with an impressive growing list of accolades that have seen him try his hand at everything from scoring award winning video games and theatre productions at the Zurich theater to DJ at events and radio stations around the globe. While the producer’s output may be slim it is considered and precise. His releases are equally promising at decibel sound system shaking volumes as they are within tucked away headphone and home listening environments. As a performer, Massi NPL delves into both the dance and ambient realms. First appearing in Los Angeles’ underground scene, he’s held residencies at various rave series and parties before going on to perform internationally from Hong Kong to New York. His appearances include iconic venues such as Bossa Nova Civic Club and Jewel’s Catch One, alongside household names like HVOB, Exos and Takaaki Itoh. He has also provided guest mixes on The Lot Radio, Radio Alhara, FM Belowground and NTS, and now hosts the monthly radio show Fields on Noods Radio. His versatile selections are eclectic yet purposeful, influenced by his multicultural background and nomadic life.
