Dion aka MASHIRO, is a DJ and music producer from Jakarta, Indonesia. Born and raised in Jakarta, Dion's musical journey began as a hobby, with DJing complementing his primary role as a multi-instrumentalist. He has been a member of several bands, including Blue Room Boys, The Boris Suit, Mati Lampu, and Daydream Travelers. As an experienced session musician, Dion has worked with numerous artists such as Aya Anjani, Reikko, Mothern, Pijar, Somewhere Somewhere, and many others. His career includes performances at major events and festivals in Jakarta, such as We The Fest, Sounds Projects, and Synchronize Fest. In his DJ career, MASHIRO is known for playing alongside acts like NAJ, Decemberkid, Erik Soto, Aytsaga, OOTORO, and even once closing for the UK electronic duo Bondax. MASHIRO is also a part of DAIJOBUCLUB, a J-music collective based in Jakarta. He also spreads his creative endeavours by being a part of one of Jakarta's most well known DJ collective, House Cartel as a photographer/videographer. MASHIRO is a passion project where Dion allows his creative ideas to flourish, producing music that showcases his unique style as a bedroom producer.
