Driven by curiosity and connection, masheen's performances are an exploration of how sounds that don't traditionally belong together can bridge cultures, moods, and states of mind. A third-culture artist, masheen’s sound resists easy categorisation. She moves fluidly between genres, believing that true creativity happens when you bring together things that aren’t usually in the same space to create something new and surprising. She has played at Sutra Sunrise, the Burdekin, Mothership Studios, and Golden Age, as well as internationally in the US and Kuala Lumpur. She has released on the SYS Sister Sounds label’s UNITY compilation, which was spotlighted by Mixmag AU/NZ.
