'Music is a Language, a Feeling, Music is Me' Dj Martien V. (Martien Verheyden) was born and raised in Amsterdam. Her life has been one long musical journey. She grew up with music in the Classical genre. As a kid she played the piano and drums for many years. At an early age she developed a great passion for Electronic Music in general, and particularly for House Music. She still has a great preference fo the "Oldskool-sound of Detroit and Chicago. Martien says she was very lucky to participate the beginning of House music in Amsterdam from within the famous clubs like RoXY & Mazzo.
