Martha O.’s love for music was shaped early by her Polish family, when she first experienced its power to connect to people, places & tell stories. Her passion for music has always played a role in her life and found many different outlets – including a long-lasting commitment to niche metal sub-genres during Martha's her teens, or a several year stint in a hip hop dance crew before that. It was while living in London in the 2010s that Martha O. first immersed in various sounds of the underground scene. This discovery inspired a sprawling journey of musical exploration that lasts to this day. Shortly after relocating to Berlin nearly a decade ago, Martha O. took her passion behind the decks. Fast forward to now, Martha O. has played at a range of events in Berlin and internationally. In Berlin, Martha O. recently played at Paloma Bar, Beate Uwe and support shows for communal marginalised queer FLINTA* spaces. Recent international bookings include London underground venue Lowprofile Studios along household name Mia Koden and Havana’s Techno party series VÓRTICE. Drawing from her vast array of musical influence past and present, Martha O.’s sound is multifaceted. She curates uplifting soundscapes as well as deep & hypnotic atmospheres.
