Marotö is a Madrid DJ who has been pushing hard in the Madrid electronic scene based on perseverance, work and passion for music. He was born in Madrid in 1993, and at just 11 years old he began to experiment with the world of electronics thanks to the influences exerted on him by his cousin and his brothers, who introduced him to that world from a very young age. Just two years later, he decides to perfect himself as a deejay, and begins to study equalization and sound at the Microfusa school. In 2016, he began his journey through the Madrid electronic scene, and soon became part of different musical groups, such as SharkCollective, more focused on the remember sound, and Basseht, focused on the different styles of techno. Marotö has acquired extensive experience behind the decks, and has performed sets in several of the best sessions and rooms in Madrid, such as Ekho (La Riviera), Costa Social Club (Upper Club) or Goya Social Club (Vibes), LAB the club (BeRenatta) to name just a few. He has also taken his music and has been interviewed on some of the best electronic music stations in the capital, such as Espacio 4 FM or Unika FM. He has also shared a booth with national and international artists such as (Fjaak, Ron Costa, Ramiro Lopez, Cristian Varela, Sama 'Abdulhadi) In 2018 he decided to create his own brand called icebox together with DaniM. That little by little over the years is gaining a name on the Madrid scene. His musical repertoire on the dance floors is best defined as underground, above all techno (Raw / Deep / Hypnotic)
