Growing up in New York City, Markos found his taste for creative exploration close to home. He was introduced to dark rooms, loud sound systems, and house music at an early age through the city's flourishing club scene and diverse nightlife of the early 1990's.Since then he has spent several years establishing his own career as a DJ and artist by playing in and around New York at a large array of clubs, lounges, bars, and lofts. Being opened minded and eclectic keeps Markos focused on the music that truly touches him. This gives him a unique sound that touches all styles from intoxicating and deep to dark and twisted. Staying true to his roots, he tries to combine different genres and moods, always keeping things fluid-never straying far from what he is feeling. In recent years, not being content with limiting himself to only staying behind a dj booth, Markos began engineering and producing music in the studio. He has worked along side many of the industries top DJ’s and producers, most recently with Danny Tenaglia. As a DJ and producer Markos has made a mark all his own. From the streets of New York which influences his unique style behind the DJ booth as well as in the studio, a style that brings guts and accessibility to music.
