Marixia
Biografía
Born in 2002, Marixia (Marija Milićević) is part of a new generation reshaping the pulse of Europe’s underground. Her sound moves through deep melodic currents, raw hypnotic grooves, and stripped-back techno energy; each set tells a story through tension, rhythm, and release.
What started as an obsession at fifteen became a complete immersion in the craft. She studied, practiced, and absorbed the scene from within, shaping her identity through late nights, warehouse floors, and collaborations with artists across the Balkans and beyond.
Her performances are more than transitions between tracks; they are journeys built on instinct, emotion, and control. Marixia threads together house, minimal, and psy techno with seamless precision, creating a space where energy evolves and time dissolves.
From Croatia’s Boogaloo and Dubrovnik’s Lazareti to Skopje’s Fortress Club and Montenegro’s Ada Bojana, she has carved her path one crowd at a time. Since relocating to Malta in 2024, her rise has only accelerated with residencies at NAAR, regular appearances at Playground, Trinity, and Liquid Club, and performances at major events, including UEFA Euro 2024 Village and SIGMA Malta, establishing her as a key figure in the island’s electronic circuit.
Now stepping into production, Marixia is channeling her vision into sound. Her upcoming debut track blends deep pulsating rhythms with a hypnotic undertow, offering a glimpse of where her music is heading: darker, deeper, and more personal.
In every set, she connects body and atmosphere, emotion and machinery, crafting an experience that feels both intimate and infinite. Marixia does not just play; she transforms spaces into living, breathing energy.
