MARÏSUN is a multifaceted DJ with roots in the Brazilian community. Born and raised in Brazil, she started her music journey when she was 14. She discovered and fell in love with house music when she moved to the U.S. Nowadays, she plays different genres of house music, going from tech house, bass house, and nu disco to progressive house, downtempo, and minimal. Although, nothing gets the crowd jumping as hard as her well known sets of Brazilian Bass House. MARÏSUN has played at many different venues in the Bay Area, Sacramento, and São Paulo, including 1015 Folsom, F8, Bergerac, DNA Lounge, and The Continental (SJ). She has also played in support of artists like Mochakk, James Hype, Fernanda Pistelli, and more. MARÏSUN produces and plays many events with focus on the queer community. She has brought hundreds to the streets for her Dyke March Block Party in 2023, has hosted happy hours at El Rio, in SF, and plays regularly at Queer First Fridays. She is involved in a project with Ani Klang, to be released sometime next year. MARÏSUN is also working on getting her first pieces of production out, but the project is still in its first steps.
