Mario Lui
Biografía
Mario Lui’s path began in Caracas, where the rumba spirit of his culture shaped his identity. After moving to California, he discovered the deep house storytelling of Hernán Cattáneo, Guy J, and Guy Gerber, influences that guided him toward long, evolving sets rooted in emotion and flow.
Shaped by California’s underground and the transformative energy of Burning Man, his sound blends patience, groove, and intimacy with the warmth of his Latin roots. Each set is crafted as a journey—balancing deep textures, connection, and release.
As co-founder of AMA Sounds, Mario channels these influences into events that bridge international talent with the local scene, building a platform grounded in authenticity, inclusivity, and community. Whether on a warehouse floor, a desert stage, or an intimate club, his music carries the same ethos: deep, story-driven, and unifying.
