Maria Wildeis is a curator, dj, sound artist and founder of contemporary off spaces and art projects, presenting performance, installation art and experimental musicians since 2010 (tiefgarage.org). She also founded an art fair for time based art (2016-2018, faroff.de) and realises experimental and noise concerts at a brutalist church in Cologne since 2014. Maria is hosting a radio show at 674fm (Radio Maria) and she worked together with art institutions like Goethe-Institute Armenia, CCA- Center for Contemporary Art Tbilisi, the German UNESCO Commission, Frauenkulturbüro NRW and Videonale at Kunstmuseum Bonn. As a DJ she is part of WIR Schwestern and the international network for women in electronic music female:pressure. Since her debut in 2018 Maria performed already at parties in major clubs in Cologne, like Odonien, Gewölbe or Schrotty, for Kompakt Records, Ancient Future, WIR Schwestern, Sisyphos Residents, and in Yerevan, Armenia, Tokyo, JP or at festivals in Germany and Spain. Her sound spans between experimental, house and the history of techno, creating sets with a strong interest in rituals and shamanic cults.
