Marea has been playing since 2006 when after high school graduation went to Barcelona to study dj and sound technician at microFusa sound school. She came back after and played around 2008-2014 under the name María in Medellín and Bogotá. After a short break of travelling the seas, she came back in 2016 to Medellín and founded the growing feminist collective NÓTT along side Julianna and Andrea Arias. Since then she had been very active in Medellín electronic scene, having played in almost all clubs, sharing decks with artists like Troy Pierce, Rebolledo and Erika with her b2b duo with Andrea Arias GLADYS, with who also got the chance to play in the famous Netherland Broadcast Station Red Light Radio on their South American Tour. She also played in the NÓTT x Boiler Room Off Camera closing party along side Peruvian dj Orieta Chrem. She also plays Italo Disco and New Beat under the aka Fata Morgana.
