Biografía
Up-and-coming producer and DJ Mar Vista has a deep passion for House, Disco, and uplifting music.
Based in Seoul, South Korea, his love for house music began at a young age, which led him to start
his producing and DJing career in 2019. His aim in the industry is to bring joy, laughter, and get
people grooving, a mission that shines through in his energetic sets and productions.
After his 2019 debut, Mar Vista gained recognition with "Cor 98" on the legendary house label
Nervous Records, and continued with collaborative projects with London's Smashing Trax and the
British house label Eton Messy. The track received strong support from industry titans like Mark
Knight, Todd Terry, and Scott Diaz, reaching Traxsource's Top 3 and being named one of the best
house tracks of 2019.
In 2020, Mar Vista’s release of "Turn Me On" on Phoenix Music hit the Beatport House charts and
attracted support from David Guetta, Pete Tong, and Roger Sanchez. He further expanded his career
by participating in Born Dirty's "Way Wicked" compilation and creating remixes for Chromeo and Born
Dirty.
While residing in Korea, Mar Vista continued to explore and expand his creativity, producing remixes
for EXO-SC and Girls' Generation, and contributing to SM Entertainment’s Winter Album in 2022. He
also performed at [SMTOWN LIVE] for two consecutive years. After signing with SM Entertainment’s
ScreaM Records, Mar Vista became more active in 2023, participating in various compilation
projects.
In 2024, Mar Vista shifted his sound to fast-paced, ravey hardhouse and hardgroove styles, releasing
several dubs on SoundCloud. His recent "Ghost Voices Dub" gained significant attention, earning
support from KETTAMA, DJ Heartstring, Sam Alfred, Ned Bennet, and Club Angel.
