Mauro, better known in the music scene as MAO AL, DJ and producer of Colombian origin, today one of the emerging artists with more projection and dynamism within the techno scene. Industrial engineer by profession, he moved to Madrid-Spain where he decided to start his studies in music production and dedicate himself 100% to his true passion. In 2017 he began his first steps as a DJ, gradually entering the Madrid techno scene. His dynamism, presence, and deep awareness of sound aesthetics are qualities that stand out in his presentations and that have led him little by little to tour several clubs and festivals in the country and some presentations abroad (Helsinki, Amsterdam, Berlin). His main genre par excellence is techno, he is a totally eclectic and versatile artist, both in his productions and in his sets, he always tries to innovate and look for the perfect balance between the rough and the subtle, mixing different styles to achieve a perfect and dynamic amalgam. He presents us with mixes full of energy, combined with explosive drops and vocals, which generate an enveloping, sensual and fresh atmosphere. His productions have been released under labels such as Diffuse reality, Ōtomo Trax (Sist. Obscuur rec.), Xelima Rec. In each production he always tries to impregnate his essence highly influenced by the 90's and 2000's decade. A strong and deep Low end, progressive and hypnotic melodies accompanied by drones that increase the tension and a lot of groove characterize him. He is founder and resident of the concept "BEAT CLUB" specializing in various sub-genres of techno music.
