Manny M

Shaped by his upbringing in the creative hub of Montreal, the multi-faceted creative pulls inspiration from his extensive musical background, which began when he first discovered his passion for music at the age of 7 while attending a music-focused public school. Equally inspired by his diverse ethnic background (French Canadian & Jamaican), Manny has built a reputation for his high energy and deep musical knowledge, spanning multiple genres. The Montreal DJ has performed at various sold-out music events for crowds of 100+ ticket buyers, and has mixed at numerous venues in the city including Riverside (St. Henri), Sauvage (Old Montreal), Yubari (Old Montreal), Poubelle Magnifique (Downtown), Milky Way (PSC), and Grenade (Plateau). Manny has experience performing for electrifying crowds in the Afrobeats/Amapiano/Reggaeton/Dancehall nightlife sphere. He has also built a name for himself as a rising talent in the Electronic music scene in Montreal, fueled by his love for Progressive/Deep/Tech and Afro House, and his experience hosting and DJing Electronic music events. In 2025, Manny Matthews co-founded Sacred Assets – a collective focused on hosting Electronic-focused dance parties – with his childhood friend and frequent collaborator, DJ SONO.
