Dylan Julien, Man Called Dylan, aka initial 'DJ' The man who did not want to become a DJ and at the same time has the initial DJ in his name. Born and raised in the east side of Paris. A love of music started at a very young when his was 6 or 7 years, listening to home made K7 from his big sister's friend, Fred. Those 2 kids were absolutely hypnotized by mid 80’s pop track and big funky star like Kool N the Gang & Earth, Wind and Fire. A kid of late 70’s, but bottle fed by 80’s movies & music, and later counter culture from the 90’s. The first records on vinyl were collected from mid 90’s to 2007 and started spinning from 2001 to 2005 in local bars and few clubs. In 2004, Dylan joined the fashion industry working for iconic company like Levi’s in marketing and sales. A newly return to DJ-ing and music curation come back again with' Music for Tourists' (Rinse France) and also for brand, shop & creative agency (Al dente, Stan Ray, Jogging Marseille, 'Man/ Woman ‘shows in Paris & New York. For over 5 years and most recently, he is resident at Serpent à Plume and has invited guest such as Apiento, Alex from Tokyo, HBT Julien, Holdtight… What you can expect from Dylan is pretty wide ranging… balearic, synth pop, house, electronic, new wave, post punk or broken beat. This hyperactive freedom thinker hates to be stuck in one box. On the side, DJ works on production project with HBT Julien & Alex From Tokyo. More projects are to come for end of 2025, stay tuned!
