A mutual passion for their local music scene, and the desire to capture the hearts and minds of their audience created MAMI. This Melbourne-based duo consisting of Will Gaythorpe and Adam Norris, who met at University and bonded over their expansive musical knowledge, set themselves a high bar; in their first few years as a duo they have supported international artists’ Township Rebellion, Hidden Empire, Korolova and Dirty South just to name a few. Since then, the duo have never looked back, releasing their first EP Lost in Sound, which reached #10 for overall Progress House on Beatport, followed up with another single Heart & Soul which has been well-received industry-wide. They created an unforgettable experience at the summit of Mt Buller, becoming the first DJs in the world to play a mesmerising set 1800 metres above sea level during sunset. Their most recent success was their passion project, Resonance, where they performed face-to-face on two separate DJ consoles in a boiler room set-up.
