Mal Da always had a diverse interest in music, from Punk Rock to Hip Hop, and soon after her interest shifted to electro, citting Hanson & Shrempf, Boys Noize and Reche & Recall as well as Robert Hood and Jeff Mills as influences. She rapidly became absorbed in electronic music after diving into the Berlin techno scene after moving to Berlin at the tender age of 19. Surrounded by DJs and producers Mal.Da joined the Minimal Daneben collective which released monthly podcasts at that time and established herself as a DJ. Ever since she is an active part of various labels and collectives. As part of the Bonker Squad Techno collective and the music label Intumi, Mal.Da unfolds her ceaseless passion for digging into A&R, seeking out and nurturing new talent while also signing music from established artists and friends. She has channeled her vibrant energy and experience to the techno stage at some of the hottest clubs and festivals in Germany, Thailand, South Africa and many other places. Mal Da always takes her audience on a journey through her sets and finds the right balance between energy driven and enchanting emotional parts, which is secret of her magic.
