Maksim Dark - A young talented musician and Live DJ playing only his own tracks. Whilst he may be a fresh name to some, Russian producer Maksim Dark has already impressed the likes of Dubfire and Richie Hawtin with his fearless, groovy brand of techno. In 2016 he issued a release on a big label boss Dubfire called SCI+TEC, has already tempted us with an early introduction to the ACIDSTAGE Ep via his recent Boiler Room set. Staying true to his name, Maksim Dark, our latest debutant has delivered 4 tracks of shadowy minimal goodness, each featuring the artist on demonic vocal duties. From the driving synth groove and white noise washes of ‘Bassewiser’ and the stripped bare, linear sounds of ‘Coneblower’ to the bubbling and yet biting sounds of title track ‘Acid Stage’ and sci-fi squeals and ominous chords of closing number ‘Harpsichord’, we’re given the perfect introduction to this exciting young artist.
