˚✧₊⁺⁎ makaya is listening for smudged echoes of the moment of creation - for the ghost of a chance . . . drawing from a broad field of influences, from folk histories and whorls to the black aquatic, their dj sets genre and tempo hop through footwork, koduro, leftfield bass, r&b, folk and dub, with a focus on hypnotic spiralling rhythms . whilst still nascent to the Glasgow circuit they've supported the likes of Rezzett, Half Queen, and Volvox, bringing a resolute experimentalism with them as they go .
