Makarii is an emerging electronic music artist and DJ whose journey began in 2016. Growing up around vinyl DJs in the 90s, she was immersed in electronic music from an early age, experiencing everything from Spanish makina and hardcore house to tech house, funky house, deep and dark techno, trance, dub, and minimal techno. Her influences span her time in Ibiza and the vibrant party scenes in London, especially within the LGBTQ community. Makarii's music is inspired by industrial, ethereal, and dark techno, and her tracks have been described as ethereal and emotive. She aims to create musical journeys, whether playing a set or producing a track, bringing deep emotions into her work. She has performed at numerous venues, including The Egg London, Cafe Seeterrassen Hamburg, Taugenichts Hamburg, Waagenbau Hamburg, Unterm Strich Hamburg, Looking Glass Cocktail Bar London, Pure Club Ibiza, Ibiza Rocks Bar Ibiza, Paradiso Hotel Ibiza, We Are Festival Solaris, and Cafe del Mar. Her set was also played on Ibiza Global Radio. Makarii developed her production skills at H.O.M.E Studio in Hamburg and the London Sound Academy. Her style blends dark techno, progressive techno, and progressive house, using Ableton, LUMI keys, and a Shure Mic. Inspired by artists like Mateo!, Gaga, Maceo Plex,RYX, Jamie Jones, Makarii aims to connect deeply with her audience through her music. She continues to grow and share her passion with humility and dedication.
