Naveen Chater, a.k.a. Madarasi, is a Melbourne-based electronic artist and DJ. Growing up in Chennai, India (hence the moniker), Madarasi has been involved in music since his early teens, back when Ableton was on Live 7 and FL Studio was still legally known as Fruity Loops. Since then, Madarasi has created music spanning various electronic genres including, techno, deep/melodic house, ambient, UKG, and more. Over the last six months, Madarasi has begun his slow-yet-determined crawl to recognition; if not towards fame, at the very least towards paying the bills.
