Passion for music, perseverance and a dedicated work ethic are the core competencies for Maarten Spoor. From a very young age he discovered music in multiple ways: learning to play the guitar, playing in bands and creating his very own mixtapes on CD's. When he moved out of his parents' house he produced, wrote, distributed and performed his own hiphop music. It was only at a later age that he found his true calling: becoming a melodic techno producer and DJ. After years of long days in the studio he evolved his skills in every way possible. In addition to taking lessons from great (ghost) producers and famous DJ's, he also gained many insights from the Amsterdam community 'The Deep House Academy'. In the weekends he worked as a bartender in the famous nightclub 'De Marktkantine' where he was inspired by all his idols: Patrice Baumel, Adana Twins, Mind Against, Maceo PLex and many many more. Now he plays at dozens of gigs in and around Amsterdam and also hosts his very own events. His deep dark hypnotizing techno sets make any dancefloor move and contain countless unique own productions. 2022 is just the start for this (just) 25 years old DJ.
