Since her teenage years, Lyss has been diving deeper into the vast sea of electronic music subgenres while adding her own touches to it. To Lyss, mixing is about experimenting with genres and playing through emotion, as opposed to what is ‘supposed’ to be played or committing to one genre. You can never predict what she’s going to deliver and her sets are full of surprises. Since she started playing in 2020, Lyss played in Paris, London and Beirut, at Marvelous Island Festival, Madame Loyale and at iconic clubs like Djoon, Sacré, Badaboum in Paris or Ballroom Blitz in Beirut. She was also featured on renowned radios such as Rinse, Radio Flouka, Kiosk Radio and MDLBEAST and has her own italo disco show on Keakie. Today, Lyss aims to empower the next generation of women DJs throughout the collective Yakamoz that she recently joined. She’s also part of Disco Clandestino, a collective that throws underground techno and italo disco parties.
