LUVr, aka Matthew Calayag, is a New York City–based DJ from Ridgewood, Queens. His love for dance and house music began in his teens, tuned into 103.5 KTU and fully immersed in the sounds of 90s house, R&B, Eurodance, disco, and live mixes by legends like David Morales. Making his debut in February 2025, Matthew is no stranger to New York nightlife. A denizen of the dancefloor for over a decade, he found community at iconic queer parties like Clubber Down Disco, Vandam, and Westgay—spaces that helped shaped the raw, unapologetic, joy-driven LUVr sound. A devoted guardian of classic New York house, LUVr blends deep, soulful, sexy, and euphoric moments into every set.
