Luka / Лука (he/they) The musical heritage of the Balkans, 90s club music and the cultural clashes during his life journey indeed left an impact on his musical expression. Growing up surrounded with musicians, Luka's sound aesthetic was shaped from an early age. This Belgrade-born musician extended their performances from concert halls to the dance-floor recently. For him, Zurich is the place he calls home since more than a decade. After studying music at the Zurich University of the Arts and years of performing on the 13-string guitar, Luka continues to share his musicality: this time during the night shift together with the dancers. His selection is trans-genre for uplifting, energetic and eclectic vibes: EDM, tribal/trance, 90s euro-dance, house to breaks, disco via percussions, hypnotic sequences and hidden gems from the Balkans. In January 2023 Luka launched their new party series in Zurich. Tanzen6000 is a dance positive party standing for unity in the community, on the dance-floor and behind the booth. Aiming to mix different bubbles together, investing a lot of optimism and giving the community a possibility for diversity on any level, Luka emphasises that tanzen6000 is nothing new, but just going back to the roots, where music and diversity was fundamental.
