LUISJA was born in Ponferrada city (El Bierzo, Spain). He loves music since 70$ learning solfeo and piano in León Music Conservatory and begins to play music at age 14, winning a local DJ contest organized by "SER" radio station. At the age of 18 he had already participated for 3 times in the SPANISH DMC WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP, reaching a good TOP 25. Throughout his career, he has made his sets to different places in Spain: Galicia, Castilla y León, Madrid, Murcia (La Manga), Baleares... He worked in Madrid with Pedro Serrano at Plaza del Rey y Montera 33 in the first years of Tryp Family (WEEKEND, GOA, MUSEO CHICOTE)... LUISJA caught with his mixes the people on the east of Mallorca island, in XIROY and then in PHYSICAL (Cala Rajada). Also at STEPHANIE'S and MAGIC 2 in Cala Millor, where he lived for more than 14 years playing the best Balearic sound, the base of his well-defined musical style. A lot of sets made on different places around the island... LUISJA bets on a FUNKY or UNDERGROUND sound, where quality is above all. That allows him to change between one style and another based on the best House Music. With a very characteristic and unmistakable groove, the taste for good music and the evident energy in each session. Innovation and control in each set ...
