Omar Chedid is a dynamic Lebanese artist who has carved a unique sound in the San Francisco music scene with his eclectic mix of house, soul, funk, and jazz. Born and raised in Beirut, Omar's obsession with music was nurtured from a young age; influenced by the sounds of the underground nightlife scene of the city. Most notably, the sounds of BO18, CUNXTSAT, Soul Kitchen, Ballroom Blitz, and Reunion. Omar's journey into the world of DJing began during his undergrad years when he started buying and collecting rare records. After moving to San Francisco in early 2019, he started spinning these records at local bars and parties. Eventually, his sets gained a following and were defined by a heavily curated selection of sounds in addition to warm and safe spaces where crowds mingled, made friends, and most importantly - danced.
