Hailing from the southern outskirts of Rome, Livid’s upbringing has been marked by dissonant echoes of urban decay. Artistically inclined from a young age, her practice explores a multitude of mediums, combining visual and sonic excursions as she weaves her life into her work. Her professional experience in the fashion industry informs her strong visual identity, drawing inspiration from the avant-garde and injecting it into every aspect of her creative endeavors. As an extension of her visual projects, while studying at the University for the Creative Arts, Livia ventured into music, eventually establishing her presence in the warehouse scene in London. Musically, she takes elements from a variety of genres, infusing her recent exploration of techno with the gritty sounds that soundtracked her youth - mainly punk, grunge, and industrial noise. Livid's sound is marked by a distinctive blend of throbbing beats, razor-sharp tones, and dystopian soundscapes - an alchemy that transforms darkness into a symphony of defiance. She finds beauty in imperfection, power in dissonance, and elegance in rebellion. Having performed in a multitude of London’s most coveted venues, her recent engagements have led her to the renowned UNFOLD, Klub Verboten, MORD x FOLD, and most recently, Rommek and Aimeé Ní's Arcane.
