Since she came of age, Lissy Lübeck has developed an affinity with nightlife and electronic music. Whether that be attending UK festivals, exploring London’s notorious afterhours scene or spending summers on the dance floors of Ibiza, Lissy lives and breathes dance music culture. Initially, this led to the pursuit of a career in music journalism. However, this alone didn’t satisfy her itch. Her growing infatuation naturally progressed to dabbling on the decks at after parties or with friends, but it wasn’t until she invested in her own that things really took off. Bookings at Hï Ibiza’s Wild Corner and London's coveted 93 Feet East would follow later the same year. Suddenly a new career path was becoming a reality. Musically, Lissy has varied tastes across the spectrum, and considers herself as comfortable at a grime gig and she does getting lost in the rave. When it comes to playing out, her sound leans into the deep-tech and minimal wave of her urban surroundings, with regular nods to classic house. She takes particular inspiration from labels such as FUSE, Cuttin' Headz, PIV and more… Never limiting herself to a narrow box, her sets also feature divergents to Latino and Afro house. She’ll go wherever the mood takes her. Still very much in the nascent of her DJ career, Lissy has a thirst to go all the way.
