Native Angeleno, pop diva enthusiast, and long time musician Lily Ardalan has been making waves in the LA music scene as both a genre-fluid DJ and as an event booker for LA’s top undergrounds. She curates a sound and a space that feels safe, familiar, joyful, and bright, in both those roles! At the core of her music taste is always a heavy pop or vocal infusion, with the goal of injecting every dance floor with pure fun and nostalgia. Her sets tell a story, with vibrational highs and groovy lows, with waves of emotion that make you close your eyes to dance, or sing along passionately. Her diverse range of musical selections has allowed her to float amongst all spaces in the underground and club scene seamlessly, playing support for techno artists like Andata, BabaBass3000, DJ Wifi, Soul Purpose, and Chromebodies -- to house artists like Baltra, Sam Collins, Life On Planets, Thee Mike B, and Athena -- to open format beasts like Keith 2.0 and Mike Taylor -- and even to the EBM and goth scene with Void Palace and Paparazzi. Currently, Lily is a resident DJ at Girl Math, Aftermidnight, Nico’s Wine Bar, and Ledisko Nights. The rest of her time is spent curating the programming for Girl Math and Aftermidnight, along with her latest independent project, Soft Beat.
