Although she was born in London, Lidia De Nova spent her whole childhood in Ibiza. She owes to her mother and her passion for jazz her first music contact at a very young age. She started studying music and clarinet when she was 8. As a teenager, she discovers electronic music characteristic of Ibiza's nightclubs. In 2014, Lidia De Nova starts her career as a DJ. Since then she has developed a personal style with a curated selection that unites different musical influences (jazz, disco, rock, new-wave, trip-hop) in a deep and elegant sound, with a strong melodic and vocal presence. Due to her Balearic background, she doesn't like to define herself in an unique electronic style and in her energetic sets she combines genres like deep house, nu-disco, afro-house, melodic house and indie dance, prevailing house music, a genre that she adores the vibes that it awakes in the dance floor. In her underground side, she's inspired by Berlin sounds of artists like Frankey & Sandrino or labels like Innervisions or Keinemusik. DJ resident at ZUMA MADRID, LUZI BOMBON & BOSCO DE LOBOS. She has been resident at PLATEA MADRID since 2016. She has also played in emblematic Madrid venues (FOUR SEASONS, AARDE, CANOPY BY HILTON, NÓMADA, RAMSES, ÉCCOLA, FLORIDA RETIRO), nightclubs (THE BASSMENT, EL SÓTANO, PANDA CLUB, MARULA, TABOO, FORTUNY) or underground house parties as TORMENTA, FARADAY and MOSTAZA.She has shared stage with Dixon and Mano Le Tough in Brunch in the Park. In Ibiza she has been played in ZUMA IBIZA. She has collaborated with sessions for PURE IBIZA RADIO, BALEARICA and PLAYA SOL IBIZA RADIO.
