DJネームの「liberty」の由来は、彼のDJスタイルではなく、クラブシーンを楽しむ人々に向けた、日常からの解放を感じさせるという彼独自の信念に基づいています。彼は新潟の豊かな自然に育まれ、海や川、山などの自然環境の中で春夏秋冬を過ごし、感受性や地方ならではの素朴な価値観を培いました。 2009年にDJ活動を開始して以来、東京のクラブシーンで様々な人々と出会い、多彩な音楽を吸収し続けている。彼の選曲の特徴は、経験した音楽体験を複数のレイヤーで重ね、選曲する空間や時間を考慮し、オーディエンスの核心に寄り添う。House、Techno、electronicaなどのダンスミュージックを主体に選曲しながらも、ダンスフロア以外でも楽しめる音楽を常に模索中。 2018年に一時的な活動休止を経て、音楽に対する慣れをなくし、他の感情に焦点を当てるために意識的に音楽を制限。2023年に再び活動を再開し、休止期間に体験した情景も音楽にフィードバックしている。 活動再開後は、自身が主催するパーティー「torch」を立ち上げ、精力的に活動。多彩な音楽体験を提供中。 The origin of the DJ name "liberty" is not tied to his DJ style but is based on his unique belief in offering a sense of liberation from everyday life to those enjoying the club scene. Raised in the rich natural environment of Niigata, he spent his days surrounded by the sea, rivers, and mountains, experiencing all four seasons, which nurtured his sensitivity and a simple, rural sense of values. Since beginning his DJ career in 2009, he has encountered various people in Tokyo's club scene and continued to absorb diverse music. His selection style is characterized by layering multiple musical experiences while considering the space and time of his sets, aligning closely with the audience's core emotions. While focusing primarily on dance music genres such as House, Techno, and Electronica, he constantly seeks music that can be enjoyed beyond the dance floor. After a temporary hiatus in 2018, he intentionally limited his exposure to music to break his familiarity with it and focus on other emotions. In 2023, he resumed his career, incorporating the landscapes and experiences from his break into his music. Following his comeback, he launched his own party, "torch," and is actively working to deliver diverse musical experiences.
