Winner of the 2021 Oram Award, Mice's futuristic-industrial aesthetic can be seen at her live AV sets where she performs with her metallic sculptural large-scale digital instruments Prism Bell and Chaos Bells, and heard on her albums that fuse immersive soundscapes with experimental techno-pop. Lia Mice's latest album The Sampler As A Time Machine is out on Optimo Music. Her unique productions are the result of years of studio experimentation with technology old and new including analog samplers, Pure Data, self-designed instruments and 8-track tape. She has performed her instruments and live AV sets in 15 countries including at such venues as The Barbican, the ICA, the V&A Museum, Ars Electronica Festival, the Tate Modern, WOMB (Tokyo) and the Museum of Arts and Design (New York). Since moving to London in 2015 she has founded and curated Electrolights AV - an experimental platform highlighting audio-visual live artists including Loraine James, La Leif and Natalie Sharp/Lone Taxidermist.
