Lex Barlin is a talented multi-instrumentalist whose recent move to the darker styles of electronic dance music has brought forth new sounds and tracks inspired by acts like ‘Maceo Plex’, ‘Victor Ruiz’, ‘Daniel Avery’, ‘Ara Koufax’, and many more. Lex grew up in the inner-city of Sydney surrounded by the vibrancy of the night life of Newtown and the City. He has begun displaying his chops in various gigs around Sydney in esteemed venues such as Chinese Laundry, The Greenwood Hotel, Oxford Underground, Potts Point Hotel, The Marlborough Hotel, The Flinders Hotel, and more; and has released music both locally and internationally independently and with the help of some heavyweight labels. Having just released his debut EP ‘Beugalo’ on local giants ‘ALLFRIENDS’ Record Label and with plenty more music scheduled for 2019, his unique take on techno is sure to catch the ears of crowds.
