Lewis Doherty is one of the new generations of true Glasgow DJ’s. With a personality typical of the city that has worked its way into his sound and performances. Having learned to DJ in 2018 and working his way around the local scene for the best part of 2 years, he secured his first club gig just before the countries first lockdown in 2020. What could’ve been viewed as a setback by some was not looked at in that way by Lewis. Fresh into a restriction free nightlife, Lewis has been cemented as one of the scenes highest workers and most desirable bookings. Since 2021 he’s played for both Glasgow and Edinburgh titans in All U Need and FLY Club, performing in historic venues such as Sub Club, La Cheetah, The Berkeley Suite, Cabaret Voltaire, Hopetoun House, Broadcast as well as SWG3. Alongside his performances, Lewis manages collective and label, Bedroom Traxx, promoting solely unsigned local talent and artists who are on similar journeys to his own. With a sound inspired by the likes of Demi Riquisimo, Palms Trax, Job Jobse & Krystal Klear, Lewis brings the Glasgow party atmosphere to any set he plays and he’s proving to be en-route to another one of the cities legendary exports.
