Originally breaking through from her packed out DJ residencies at London’s respected after-hours parties, Jaded and Tape, Lenka has risen through the ranks to play alongside A-List artists Claude Von Stroke, Tiefschwarz, Oliver Huntemann and Marc Romboy. From London to Slovakia and the United States, Lenka’s racked up some notable festivals and club dates recently playing the Odyssey event at Fabric. Forthcoming dates include Friday, February 1st’s Hat Party at the Kings Heads, 257 Kingsland High Road, E2 8AS and Monday, March 17th’s Decay Records Showcase at 93 East, 150 Brick Lane, E1 6QL. Lenka was also a lynchpin of Shoreditch’s Red Gallery art space and party location, performing and hosting events with Richie Hawtin’s Minus Records, Flying Circus, Secret Sundaze and Hybrid Life. In 2015 she built up a loyal following for her Dungeon parties in East London, exemplified in the event series ‘Journey Into the Unknown” as well as playing at the thriving BC (Breakfast Club). Springboarding from that came Paradox and We Play Music We Love in London. As well as her musical side, Lenka designs clothes and hats. These became key to Lenka’s signature style and in 2017 she created her own ‘Only as Unique As You Are’ clothing brand. This led to launching the HAT party series - HAT (House And Techno) and uniquely combining both her lifelong passions. Lenka Toma is a London-based artist reflecting her Slovakian origins with a multi-faceted sonic library that features a deep n’ warm variety of tech-house and techno.
