Lawn Brutic lands in Chicago after years serving the underground dance scene in Salt Lake City. There, his house, techno, and Italo sessions helped shred the carpet at the International Artist Lounge, where he drove the acclaimed Public Utility series with DJ Toilet Spider, Matthew Fit, conceptualmilf, and others. Brutic has organized a range of independent parties, including the two-time leftfield classic Disko Sleaze. His mixes are cinematic and meticulously structured for longform catharsis. On the drum machine he produces minimalist techno, always striving to combine formal rigor with danceability.
