With more than two decades of DJ-ing under his belt, Lavka has seen many trends come and go, but his strict house, techno and wave aesthetics remained the same and have kept him on the forefront of Slovenia's avant-garde clubs and festivals. From playing New York house in the notorious Slovenian rave cathedral Ambasada Gavioli in 2000s, Chicago and acid tracks during the tech-house flood in the legendary club K4 in Ljubljana and pushing wave and EBM sound true his own Lost Tapes night in Channel Zero (AKC MetelkovaMesto). He played at some of the biggest regional festivals and clubs such as MED, MENT, 50 years of Radio Student, Stiropor, Keep in Mind (Slovenia), Ekstrakt, Bale Vale, Tipsy carnival, bRave (Croatia), Disco not Disco (Serbia) and Rave in the Cave (Austria), but has also helped curate the program of Bikofest and Stiropor festivals, clubs K4 and Channel Zero (AKC MetelkovaMesto) some of it through his own club night Lost Tapes. The latter has seen him share the stage with the likes of Helena Hauff, Varg, Powell, Legowelt, Intergalactic Gary, Basic Soul Unit, Leon Vynehall, DJ TLR, Alesandro Adriani, John Heckle, L.F.T., Vakula etc. He also deejayed at Slovenia's first Boiler Room and Red Light Radio events and was hosted on various radio shows such as Rinse FM (France), Mutant radio, Italo Moderni mixes. He has released on the Stiropor label and remains their resident DJ since the beginning no matter if it is a house, techno, post-punk or a disco night. In the last period he co runs KRI records with Dj Schrauff and pushes EBM and Electro sound in Ljubljana with their own club night Zasilni izhod and KRI parties.
