Originally getting his footing within the local Atlanta rap scene, Lavi is known for his no-holds barred blends of breaks and booty bass. Growing up in Clayton County ( the south metro area of Atlanta also known as "Jurassic Park", famous for breeding acts such as Waka Flocka Flame, 2Chainz, Dijon Stylez, Latto,and more ) producing music for local acts and self-releasing music of his own, he eventually branched out into DJing and curating events as a member of various collectives such asThe Good Juice Family, The Lava House, and Cyberia, before eventually taking a place as a show DJ for the pioneering Rap conglomerate Awful Records ( home to acts such as Tommy Genesis, Father, Abra, Ethereal, and Playboi Carti to name a few ). After a hiatus on music, Lavi formed the label Pink Noise Records as a channel for his return to self releases which also serves as a brand face for his curated events. He also serves as 1/2 of the DJ duo Patna Dem, with Spliffany. With his newfound footing and inspiration, he continues to put forth his signature style of infusing raw and unique references of Atlanta's varied culture from 90's Atlanta Bass, 2000's Crunk, the Futuristic movement of the 2010's, and all of the essentially eccentric cultural classics in between with a new school take on breakbeat-ladden electro, club, and even jungle music.
