Laurine Philippe grew up in Antwerp and began her musical journey 20 years ago as a classical violinist. Today she focuses on dark disco & techno, occasionally showing her love for vinyl with groovy house records. Since 2021, the Frankfurt based dj is resident at club Tanzhaus West and part of the collective Mitte der Gesellschaft. In 2021, together with her friend Julia, Laurine established the event and community concept "clubcherry". Their initiative focuses on safer spaces for FLINTA* people in the electronic music scene while simultaneously building a community for dj newcomers. The community serves the exchange of knowledge, mutual support and experimentation with vinyl and digital sound in Frankfurt and surroundings.
