From the warehouses of Sydney to the clubs of Brooklyn, Lauren Murada is an international tastemaker who takes the party with her wherever she goes. It was a love of disco that led Lauren to move to New York in 2014 and find a job at Good Room. Joining the club in its infant stages, Lauren is a vital member of the team who helped it grow into an East Coast favorite that won Mixmag's Best Small Club in North America in 2022. In her first few years at the club, Lauren spent time watching and learning from DJs of legendary NY parties like The Loft, The Paradise Garage, and Body & Soul/718 Sessions. She caught the bug and in 2016 decided it was time to step into the booth herself. Lauren is a resident at Good Room with her party Love Games, a monthly she throws with Finn Jones that aims to carry the spirit of disco into the 21st century. She is also a record selector with L&L&L Record Club and a regular on The Lot Radio. On any given weekend you can find her behind the decks of dancefloors big or small at Brooklyn venues like Nightmoves, Milagrosa, and Elsewhere. As a dancer turned DJ, Lauren is constantly thinking about the dancefloor, playing sets that are always high energy and always FUN. A true digger with a record collection that is always growing, in one night she could play anything from diva disco to classic 90s house, italo to funk rock, proto-house to freestyle, and just about any track that makes you wanna get down.
