LARA-RA

Hailing from Florence, Italy, LARA-RA has been part of the music industry from a very young age - as a journalist and writer, marketeer, podcaster, booking agent, and since 2019, vinyl + digital selector and curator. Recently relocated to Liverpool, LARA-RA started playing records in bars, pubs, and clubs in London and Brighton, specialising in vinyl-only sets. In October 2025, LARA-RA played Alphabet Brighton, opening for Damian Harris (Midfield General, founder of Skint Records) during episode 3 of Party Together and Be Free, Aaron Fletcher's (The Bees) series of events. Since moving to Liverpool in early 2026, LARA-RA has been playing across town at venues like Simone's Cocktail Bar, Sister Ray, KIKU, The Merchant, Kazimier Garden, and has started a weekly residency at Todd Terry's Freeze HiFi venue soon after it opened in late spring 2026. In September 2026, LARA-RA supported Colleen Cosmo Murphy as she played her first-ever Liverpool show. LARA-RA chases the groove, moving through a wide breadth of experiences beyond genres. From Northern Soul and Disco, through Tropicália and Hip Hop, to Funk and Electronica. Focusing on selecting rather than mixing, it's all about the journey for people with open ears.
