Lady Prowl is the musical alias of longtime Philadelphia resident, visual artist, and architectural designer, Elena Nestico. Elena was influenced at a young age by 90’s rave music and culture, hip-hop, dancehall, and early bass music. She started collecting records after acquiring her first pair of turntables in high school. Lady Prowl began djing to the public in the early 2000’s and possesses an in depth knowledge of music across a myriad of genres.She enjoys producing music primarily with analog drum machines and synthesizers, which she uses for her solo and collaborative projects.
