Now New Orleans based, she is known for her serious yet upbeat approach to dance music. Lady Lavender’s sound is selective but carefree, and always with a dance floor in mind.She is a co-founder of For The Record - a New Orleans based creatives' collective rooted in community, compassion, solidarity, and having a damn good time. Her most recent project includes Secret Handshake, in which she partners with fellow DJ Nile Ashton to curate shows combining DJing, dance, and visual art.
