Biografía
La Lani is a DJ and producer based in Adelaide, South Australia. She is known for her signature sounds of house and electronic music and demonstrates versatility both in her production and DJ sets.
La Lani currently holds a residency at one of Adelaide’s most iconic venues Rocket Bar and Rooftop and has previously held residencies at several of the city’s other popular clubs. She has headlined Electric Circus and played at other major venues including Hindley Street Music Hall, where she has supported artists such as Stum and Ben Gerrans. She was also handpicked two years in a row by Scott Tweedie to join the lineup for his ‘Release The Party’ shows at Hindley Street Music Hall.
Her reach has extended interstate, with two appearances at Revel in Hobart over the past year. La Lani has also supported an impressive roster of national and international artists, including Kettama, Sammy Virji, Sam Alfred, SWIM, Club Angel, Girls Don’t Sync, and more.
Beyond the club circuit, La Lani has played at some of Australia’s leading festivals, including Wildlands, Listen In, and Spin Off Festival. She also played Electric Paradise this year alongside acts including Airwolf Paradise, Southstar, Mel Hall, and more, further establishing her presence on festival lineups.
La Lani’s debut single ‘Sunset At Suluban’ grabbed the attention of South Australian’s leading music publications, The Note Magazine and CityMag, and received strong support from Fresh92.7, Adelaide’s premier electronic music radio station. Since then, she has released music via Melbourne label ‘Shelter,’ along with other independent releases which have continued to gain radio airplay. She was recently invited to record a guest mix for Fresh 92.7 and will be releasing a new mix on Area 3000, Melbourne-based radio station this October.
With more original releases on the horizon and a fast growing list of club and festival bookings, La Lani is rapidly establishing herself in the scene and is one to keep an eye on.
