kyo is a DJ/Producer based in Kyoto, Japan, specializing in UK Garage, Bassline, Grime, and Dubstep. He is an active core member of the Japanese label SPRAYBOX. At Akihabara MOGRA, kyo organizes dubbin’, an event themed around independent music and unique spatial production. He also served as the navigator for UKG RISING, a UK Garage & Bassline program on Japan's club music radio station block.fm. While actively DJing, kyo continues to produce genre-crossing tracks. Between 2020 and 2021, he released Heaven Dub, Freezing Point, and Ghost through the UK label Garage Shared. In Japan, he arranged MÖSHI - Connected feat. ASOBOiSM as a production project. Additionally, Nanao Akari - Laika (kyo Remix) won a competition and was included in the official remix album Like a Laika. In 2022, kyo released Fighting for Love, Bloody Hell, and 81244 on the domestic label SPRAYBOX and How Can I Live on the UK label Wot U Sayin. His tracks have gained international recognition, receiving support from prominent artists such as Conducta, DJ EZ, SHOSH, and Sharda, further expanding his influence beyond Japan.
