Manipulating sounds that come from the deepest places, such as the cervix or the abysses of the ocean, Kupalua creates immersions that transcend sound, the dramaturgy of her shows invites us to get closer, Kupalua is a physical experience, sound waves trespass your body and voices whisper to your bones other notions of darkness, womanhood, alien and terrain possibilities. Kupalua studied electronic composition at the Royal Danish Conservatory, DIEM, in Denmark.
